This pull request addresses

Voice interaction AI summaries in the Contact Center widgets, including mid-call consult and transfer handoff and post-call wrap-up.

by making the following changes

  • Adds interaction and agent scoped AI summary state in the store, with task-owned SDK event handling and stale-result rejection.
  • Adds initiating and receiving agent views, consult/transfer and wrap-up summary flows, Web Component exposure, and sample-app scenarios.
  • Adds unit, browser, accessibility, visual, SDK contract, package-boundary, and release-verification coverage and updates the corresponding module specs and contract docs.
  • Commits the sealed local SDK package and its SHA-256 lock receipt so the root development resolution has a reproducible dependency.

Change Type

  • Bug fix (non-breaking change which fixes an issue)
  • New feature (non-breaking change which adds functionality)
  • Breaking change (fix or feature that would cause existing functionality to change)
  • Documentation update
  • Tooling change
  • Internal code refactor

The following scenarios were tested

  • The testing is done with the amplify link
  • Git patch whitespace validation passed before commit.
  • The committed SDK tarball SHA-256 matches design/default/sdk_package_lock.json.
  • Unit, browser, style, and release gates were not run during PR preparation.

Known blocker: the sealed SDK package has a regression in which a same-conversation CONSULT request superseded by TRANSFER can remain pending indefinitely. The SDK regression test and ai-summary.md document it. SDK repair, a new sealed package, and successful release gates are required before merge.

The GAI Coding Policy And Copyright Annotation Best Practices

  • GAI was not used (or, no additional notation is required)
  • Code was generated entirely by GAI
  • GAI was used to create a draft that was subsequently customized or modified
  • Coder created a draft manually that was non-substantively modified by GAI (e.g., refactoring was performed by GAI on manually written code)
  • Tool used for AI assistance (GitHub Copilot / Other - specify)
    • Github Copilot
    • Other - Codex / Artificer
  • This PR is related to
    • Feature
    • Defect fix
    • Tech Debt
    • Automation

Checklist before merging

  • I have not skipped any automated checks
  • All existing and new tests passed
  • I have updated the testing document
  • I have tested the functionality with amplify link
