NoteX has features like store notes from chrome extension, add notes,videos or other media by selecting text or media by right clicking on webpage from chrome browser. You can browse, search and edit notes in your browser.
Currently NoteX is in beta version.
How to install
- Install Java
- Install tomcat server
- Install mongoDB server and client
- Google Chrome Browser
Configuration
- Put the source code in tomcat's WebApp directory
- Rename the source code folder to NoteX
- open google chrome and go to Menu -> More Tools -> Extensions and drag and drop Extension folder on it
How to Use
- go to http://localhost:8080/NoteX/ to access the Notes
