Production sync exhausted its repair budget after one epoch, then marked later epochs as failed without attempting repairs. This left the dashboard reporting failures while the backlog grew.
Run sync hourly, allow up to four repair attempts, and stop starting epochs after eight minutes. Leave unstarted epochs available for the next run and report them as deferred. Limit production activity batches to one retry. Real repair failures remain visible; existing failure markers clear after successful verification or repair. V2 scoring stays off.
Validation: 208 tests pass, typecheck passes, and the mainnet production build passes. Lint passes with the existing ignored
.superpowersfiles excluded; those files still fail the unfiltered lint command.Production has not been deployed.
