ruff 0.16 turned on SIM102, SIM117, BLE001, PLW1510, UP045 and import sorting for the generated project, so `task lint` failed on fresh projects. Flatten the nested ifs and withs, catch specific exceptions in the service definition validator, pass an explicit `check` to subprocess.run in tests, use `X | None` annotations, and sort imports.
