Closing this upgrade for now. The kitchen-sink example intentionally remains on Vite 5 because it uses Svelte 4 with Svelte Vite plugin versions supporting Vite 6 and newer require Svelte 5. We cannot adopt Svelte 5 yet because its client runtime needs DOM behavior that Remote DOM’s minimal Web Worker polyfill does not implement. This example must continue working in both iframe and Web Worker sandboxes. We documented the constraint and upgrade prerequisites in #638. We can revisit Vite consolidation after the polyfill supports Svelte 5. |
