if you really want to go down the maldev road dude, ide start with learning Windows 10/11 architecture, quirks, etc etc.

If you're new to malware stuff, and want to learn malware stuff, go to our paper collection.

If you read 10% of our malware analysis paper collection (took notes, seriously understood it), you'd be a fuckin' monster.

If you know how to code (Python, C, C++, .NET), and visit our malware development section and read about 40% of the papers (took notes, seriously understood it), you'd be a fuckin' monster.

You'd have a powerful understanding of malware analysis, malware development, the malware threat landscape, malware threat groups (state-sponsored or financially motivated). You'd jump from absolute noob dumbie to Subject Matter Expert lightning fast.

Unfortunately, this also requires you to lock in pretty damn hard. You'd have to seriously dedicate yourself. However, if you could do 2 or 3 papers a day, in about 12 months, you'd be ridiculously well versed in malware. But you'd (probably) burn and crash out pretty fast at this rate because the amount of information you'd be ingesting would be astronomical.

Anyway, if you want to actually learn, we have a massive-fuck-off-library of malware educational resources waiting for you."

"Tbh I think if someone fr wants to learn malware development you shouldn't even begin studying malware techniques

You should focus on things that interact with the OS, like file creation (and all the silly quirks of it on Windows), working with the registry, file system enumeration, basic networking stuff (WinHTTP vs WinInet vs WinSocks vs IpHelper).

Having a good understanding of these will make life a lot easier

Then when you feel really really comfortable and do silly stuff like that, then slowly introduce some malware stuff because a lot of malware stuff is just abusing the concepts described above

Also probably explore the Windows API and all the weird shit inside of it that isn't documented well. I also recommend reviewing ReactOS source code to get an understanding of what's going on under the hood

personally i highly recommend following this advice, its what got me to where i am today, if your passionate and motivated then stick to it nd don't give up.

Don't ever pay for malware ! .

you are paying the mal dev to compromise your own system, along with any of the systems you "infect". Dont trust anyone in the (criminal) maldev community. ever. no exceptions.

if you cant understand and therefor verify the validity of malicious code that you plan on buying, you should not be trying to use malware in general.
and if your not verifying the code before using it on your own system, you Definitely should NOT be dicking around with malware full stop.

This way you'll be cool and interesting, being able to write your own.
