Please make a release

Flatpak developer doesn't like to use pre-release packages. Please make a release to smooth the path of those using bibtexparser.

Yes i rather have something not working 100% then the pre-release for too long. (so far i haven't found any issues and think its great :)

Thanks for the kind words and for raising this. This may just give me the nudge I needed! 😄

I've been wanting to cut a release for a while, but I haven't quite felt confident enough to pull the trigger yet. My main concern is that many of the thousands of this library's dependents haven't pinned their version, which means a release could trigger automatic migrations and potentially cause downstream conflicts in production. That said, the reception of the last pre-release seem to have been quite successful; thus we're close to getting to the green light 😆 .

Still, in the days after the release, I want to make sure I am available a bit more to ship potential hotfix releases. And due to seasonal commitments, European spring is about the worst time for me in that regard :-D (*)

That said, I hear you. I'll aim to get a release out very soon. If nothing has landed within the next two months, please don't hesitate to ping me again!

fyi: just released b10, after merging a ton of fixes. if nothing surfaces, I'll release 2.0.0 within the next week
