alphaTab is hands down one of the most impressive browser-based music notation and MIDI playback engines out there.

We wanted to share another web-native audio project focused on the physical hardware side: bipluk.com.

Bipluk is an in-browser Web MIDI SysEx librarian and cloud vault for vintage hardware synthesizers (Yamaha DX7, Roland Juno-106, Korg M1, Sequential Prophet, Casio CZ):

• Zero Install: Runs directly client-side in Chrome using the Web MIDI API without local native utilities.
• Vintage CPU Pacing: Modern USB-MIDI interfaces fire packets too fast for 1980s microprocessors. Bipluk throttles transfers with 50ms intervals so vintage UART buffers do not overflow.
• Real-Time ASCII Decoding: Extracts patch names and parameters from raw binary hexadecimal blocks on the fly.
• Cloud Vault: Protects patch collections before internal battery-backed SRAM loses voltage.
